British Pattern 1853 Snider Enfield Socket Type Bayonet Complete Original
Designed for the British Pattern 1853 rifle musket, it also fits others including the
Snider Enfield conversion of the above rifle.
Overall length is 22" with a 17 1/2" bright blade.
This bayonet was built at Enfield and shows the E proof.
The blade does a slight patina to it.
The bayonet rides in the later type of scabbard supplied mostly for use on the
Snider. Very good example with an excellent ORIGINALscabbard. Brass end is a
little dented but is secure and complete..
